As part of Damascus Studio’s initiative to document Syrian intangible heritage, we present the Muwashah “Yamurru ‘Ajaban” performed by vocalist Khaled Al-Hafez, with Tarik Al-Sayyid Yahya on oud. Composed by Sheikh Omar Al-Battash and penned by Fakhri Bek Al-Baroudi, in Maqam Hijaz Kar Kurdi with Mukhammis Turki 32/4 rhythm.
